Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a maintenance professional to install, test, maintain and repair electrical wiring, equipment, fixtures and related systems. You will conduct routine inspections, troubleshoot issues and supervise contractors to minimize downtime and ensure safety.

The role requires a valid A4 Chargeman certification, strong problem‑solving and documentation skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team while ensuring compliance with statutory standards.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, fixtures, and related systems.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and related mechanical systems to minimize downtime.
• Comply with the Electricity Supply Act, Suruhanjaya Tenaga requirements, and other standards.
• Implement and enforce workplace safety procedures and permit-to-work requirements.
• Identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Supervise contractors, vendors, and service providers.
• Perform monthly diesel generator testing and monitor system performance.
• Attend statutory inspections and liaise with authorities when required.

Install, test, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, fixtures, and related systems.

Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities.

Troubleshoot and repair electrical and associated mechanical systems to minimize downtime.

Comply with the Electricity Supply Act, Suruhanjaya Tenaga requirements, and other relevant regulatory standards.

Implement and enforce workplace safety procedures and permit-to-work requirements.

Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.

Supervise contractors, vendors, and service providers performing servicing, maintenance or project works.

Perform monthly diesel generator testing and identify any operational abnormalities.

Monitor the performance of building systems and recommend corrective measures where necessary.

Attend statutory inspections and liaise with relevant authorities as required.

About you

Possess a valid A4 Chargeman certification issued by Suruhanjaya Tenaga

General knowledge on maintenance works beyond electrical systems
