Job summary

Micron Concept Aerostructures in Selangor, Malaysia, seeks a CNC maintenance technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on CNC machines and supporting equipment.

You will diagnose alarms, calibrate machines, and ensure long-term reliability, while collaborating with production to maximize uptime and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in CNC maintenance is preferred.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read schematics and diagnose equipment issues.
• Strong teamwork and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Preventive and corrective CNC maintenance on machines.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Diagnose alarms, axis errors, vibration, overheating, and position issues.
• Maintain CNC components: spindles, ball screws, bearings, motors, drives, sensors.
• Calibrate, align, level, install, and test machines when needed.
• Respond to breakdowns and perform root cause analysis.
• Keep maintenance records, downtimes, and spare parts usage.
• Work with production to ensure machine reliability and productivity.
• Follow EHS, safety, LOTO, and 5S requirements.
• Support equipment improvement and reliability initiatives.
• Own machine performance and long-term reliability.

· Troubleshootand repairmechanical, electrical,hydraulic, and pneumaticsystems.

· Diagnose machine alarms, axis errors, vibration, overheating, and positioning issues.

· Maintain and repairkey CNC componentsincludingspindles, ball screws, bearings, motors, drives, sensors, and toolchangers.

· Conductmachine calibration, alignment, leveling, installation, and functional testingwhen required.

· Respond promptly tobreakdowns and performroot cause analysisto minimize downtime.

· Maintain accuratemaintenance records, downtimereports, and spare-parts usage.

· Work closely withproduction, machinists,supervisors, and engineersto ensuremachine reliability andproductivity.

· FollowEHS, safety, LOTO, and 5S requirementsat all times.

· Supportequipment improvement, reliability, and continuous improvementinitiatives.

· Take ownership ofmachine performance, maintenancequality, andlong-term equipmentreliability.
