Job description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our pulp moulding manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in maintaining industrial machinery and equipment, with a focus on equipment reliability, safety, and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and equipment.

Troubleshoot and resolve machinery and equipment issues effectively and efficiently.

Conduct regular inspections and identify potential equipment issues for timely corrective action.

Carry out necessary repairs and servicing to keep machinery, tools, and related equipment in good working condition.

Assist with machine installation, modification, adjustment, and commissioning when required.

Maintain accurate maintenance records and report equipment issues to the supervisor.

Ensure all maintenance work is carried out safely and in accordance with company procedures.

Perform other duties and assignments as assigned by the superior.

Requirements

Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related field.

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in machinery or industrial maintenance.

Hands-on experience in troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of production equipment.

Good understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.

Able to identify and resolve equipment problems effectively.

Able to work independently as well as in a team.

Responsible, disciplined, and safety-conscious with a positive working attitude.

Experience in a manufacturing or pulp moulding environment will be an added advantage.
