Job summary

PEN S J Electronics Sdn Bhd in Penang seeks a Production Technician to support manufacturing operations. You will set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipment to ensure smooth daily output.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, monitor equipment performance, and conduct RCA to address recurring issues. The role requires a Diploma in Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering and basic MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Basic MS Office knowledge for reporting and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Setup, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipment.
• Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) to reduce downtime.
• Monitor equipment performance and yield data; conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring issues.
• Provide technical support for equipment and production operations.
• Support Engineering Change Orders (ECO) and Kaizen/Lean initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and 5S standards.
• Assist in other maintenance and engineering activities as required.
