Job summary

Spring Art Industries Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia is seeking a Maintenance Technician to provide technical support to the production department.

The role includes conducting regular inspections, maintaining all machinery, and promoting safe working conditions in line with OSHA standards. The candidate will disassemble machines, replace parts, inspect damaged components, and ensure adherence to ISO policies and internal maintenance procedures.

Qualifications

• Must have a technical diploma as listed.
• Experience in maintenance is preferred.
• Strong adherence to safety standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to production department.
• Conduct regular facility inspections to detect and resolve problems.
• Maintain machinery to ensure it operates within standards.
• Promote safe and healthy working conditions in the workplace.
• Recommend measures to reduce or eliminate industrial hazards in line with OSHA standards.
• Ensure compliance with department safety procedures and company policies.
• Disassemble machines and replace/repair components as required.
• Inspect or test damaged parts and identify repair needs.

Job description

Responsible for providing technical support to the production department.

Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to detect and resolve problems.

Maintain all machinery to ensure it’s at working standards.

Establishes and promotes the maintenance of safe and healthy working conditions.

Recommends measures to reduce or eliminate industrial accident and health hazards in compliance with OSHA standards.

Establishes and ensures compliance to department safety procedures.

Ensure maintenance procedure adherence to the company policies, ISO and / or other relevance standards.

Disassemble machines and take off parts for replacement repair

Replace, fix or realign machine parts and accessories in line with production specifications

Inspect or test damaged machine parts, and mark defective areas or repair needs.
