Kumpulan Pintasan (M) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a maintenance technician to service automatic gate barrier systems at site locations in Klang. The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical/electronic components to keep systems running reliably.
Candidates should have a technical certificate or diploma and be willing to work shifts, weekends, and standby calls. Training and company car are provided as part of the role.
Responsible for the installation, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, and repair of gate barrier systems, radio communication systems, at Northport (Klang). The technician shall ensure all equipment remains operational, reliable, and compliant with project requirements.
Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of automatic gate barrier systems, including barrier arms, motors, controllers, loop detectors, sensors, limit switches, photocells, and related components.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, mechanical, and control-system faults affecting gate barrier operation.
Perform equipment replacement, component repair, wiring termination, cable checking, and minor electrical works where required.
Respond to equipment breakdowns and attend to emergency/urgent maintenance calls within the required response time.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment faults, repairs, spare parts used, and replacement components.
Prepare service reports, inspection checklists, fault reports, and preventive maintenance records.
Conduct routine site inspections and identify potential equipment failures before they affect system operation.
Maintain proper inventory and condition of tools, testing equipment, spare parts, and maintenance materials.
Certificate/Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics, Telecommunications, IT, or a related technical field is preferred.
Experience in automatic barrier systems, radio communication, or electrical/electronic maintenance is an advantage.
Basic knowledge of electrical and electronic circuits, motors and control panels, relay/control systems, sensors and detectors, access control systems, and basic networking and IP equipment.
Ability to use basic electrical and electronic test equipment such as multimeter.
Ability to read basic electrical wiring diagrams, schematics, and equipment manuals.
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently and as part of a technical maintenance team.
Willing to work in shift hours, weekends, public holidays, standby, and emergency call-outs.
Possess a valid driving license to drive in site (company car).
Training / Support will be provided.
