Job summary

Kumpulan Pintasan (M) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a maintenance technician to service automatic gate barrier systems at site locations in Klang. The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical/electronic components to keep systems running reliably.

Candidates should have a technical certificate or diploma and be willing to work shifts, weekends, and standby calls. Training and company car are provided as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Certificate/Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics, Telecommunications, IT, or a related technical field is preferred.
• Experience in automatic barrier systems, radio communication, or electrical/electronic maintenance is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and electronic circuits, motors and control panels, relay/control systems, sensors and detectors, access control systems, and basic networking and IP equipment.
• Ability to use basic electrical and electronic test equipment such as multimeter.
• Ability to read basic electrical wiring diagrams, schematics, and equipment manuals.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of automatic gate barrier systems, including barrier arms, motors, controllers, loop detectors, sensors, limit switches, photocells, and related components.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, mechanical, and control-system faults affecting gate barrier operation.
• Perform equipment replacement, component repair, wiring termination, cable checking, and minor electrical works where required.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and attend to emergency/urgent maintenance calls within the required response time.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment faults, repairs, spare parts used, and replacement components.
• Prepare service reports, inspection checklists, fault reports, and preventive maintenance records.
