Job summary

Synturn in Malaysia is seeking an experienced technician to perform routine maintenance on CNC turning machines and to promptly troubleshoot faults to minimize downtime.

You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and controller faults, repair components, and record activities. The role includes 5S housekeeping and a schedule of 8:15–17:15 Monday to Friday, with Saturday mornings. AWS and bonuses are provided.

Qualifications

• Maintenance on CNC turning machines; diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic faults.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, blueprints and schematics.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing CNC turning machines.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on CNC turning machines.
• Carry out corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose faults and repair to restore performance.
• Record maintenance activities, spare parts usage and machine conditions.
• Maintain workshop 5S standards.

Perform routine maintenance on CNC turning machines

Carry out corrective maintenance and troubleshoot machine breakdowns promptly to minimize production downtime

Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and controller faults

Repair, replace and adjust machine components to restore equipment performance

Record maintenance activities, spare part usage and machine conditions

Maintain good housekeeping in the workshop and maintenance areas (5S)

Job Requirements:

Min 2 years work experience related to CNC lathe machine and barloader

Strong understanding of mechanical , electrical and software components of CNC machines

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics

Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing CNC turning machines

5.5 days work (Mon to Fri: 8.15am to 5.15pm, Sat: 7.45am to 12.00pm)
