Responsibilities

• Execute maintenance activities safely and timely in accordance with procedures and planning to ensure plant uptime and productivity
• Inspect, repair, maintain, and record electrical systems according to procedures and safety standards
• Inspect, repair, maintain, and record plumbing systems and general amenities according to procedures and safety standards
• Inspect, repair, maintain and record defects or malfunctions of the staff house/dormitory
• Attend to issues and complaints pertaining to common property and perform necessary general inspection and maintenance
• Assist and support the development of preventive and corrective maintenance programs and execute PM and CM programs accordingly
• Maintain professional and effective teamwork with maintenance and production members and ensure all activities are recorded and properly organized
• Manage and organize spare parts and consumables inventory according to the maintenance plan
• Report to maintenance executive for 3rd party contractor intervention and monitor 3rd party maintenance activities as instructed
• Support production department when urgent assistance is required

Job description

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for executing maintenance activities safely and timely in accordance with procedures and planning to ensure the uptime and productivity of the plant. The role involves inspecting, repairing, maintaining, and recording electrical systems, plumbing systems, general amenities, and staff house/dormitory facilities according to procedures and safety standards. The technician will escape issues that cannot be resolved without Subject Matter Expert or specialized tools to superior and management, attend to complaints pertaining to common property, and support the development of preventive and corrective maintenance programs.

About you

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an industrial electrician with primary duties as an electrical control's technician in a manufacturing environment
