Job summary

IJM Group's Industry Division is seeking a Supervisor Maintenance in Malaysia to lead daily maintenance operations and safeguard production efficiency. You will plan preventive and corrective maintenance, manage breakdown repairs, and coordinate with production to minimize downtime while maintaining safety standards.

The role requires a Bachelor's Diploma in Engineering, at least 1 year in a technical sales or engineering role, and strong client communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update maintenance records and inspection checklist.
• Ensure safety compliance and implement improvement solutions in the factory.
• Identify customer needs and recommend optimal technical solutions that deliver measurable value.

What We're Looking For:

Must Have:

Bachelor's Diploma in Engineering

Minimum 1 years' experience in technical sales or related engineering role

Strong communication skills to engage with clients effectively

Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits

Good to Have:

Previous experience in construction or industrial equipment sales

Understanding of project management principles

Knowledge of industry procurement processes

Additional language proficiency (especially Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin)

Existing network of industry contacts
