Job summary

Jora Malaysia in Selangor is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to manage continuous improvement of the maintenance system, procurement of spare parts, and coordination across production, sanitation, and facilities. You will handle work orders, audits, KPI dashboards, contractor management, and maintenance department administration, with a safety-focused mindset and ability to work autonomously.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in mechanical or dual mechanical-electrical, or technical engineering degree.
• 1+ years in manufacturing or industrial engineering.
• Strong safety focus and compliance with safety systems.
• Excellent organizational skills; autonomous work capability.
• Good verbal and written communication.
• Proficient IT skills: MS Office.
• Team player with maintenance experience.
• Strong meeting and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Improve maintenance system data (MEX): asset registration, work orders, PM policy.
• Procure spare parts within budget; manage inventory in MEX and physical stock.
• Coordinate GMP walks and schedule works with production, sanitation, facilities and projects teams; update compliance status.
• Follow up audit gaps; prepare detailed work orders and scope for planned activities.
• Prepare reports and update KPI dashboards weekly and monthly.
• Manage special projects with internal/external resources; track Capex purchases.
• Participate in contractor management: safety induction, permit to work for high risk activities.
• Lead maintenance department administration: document controls, weekly duty roster, PR/PO, 5S.
