Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Senior Maintenance Engineer to ensure reliable operation of production machinery, oversee preventive and predictive maintenance, and lead equipment repairs and improvement projects.

You will supervise staff, manage spare parts, and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across maintenance activities. Strong troubleshooting, electrical, mechanical, and automation skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering.
Professional certifications (e.g., CMP) are an advantage.
Experience with maintenance management software.
Experience in a high-security or card manufacturing environment is a plus.
Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

Oversee preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance for all machinery, equipment, and systems.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, or technical issues promptly.
Supervise and mentor junior maintenance staff and technicians.
Lead maintenance-related improvement projects within timelines and budgets.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory standards; maintain maintenance records and KPIs.
Monitor and control maintenance budgets and stock levels of spare parts.
