Job summary

Hextar Retail Berhad in Rawang is seeking a Maintenance Officer to plan and execute regular servicing of machines and utilities, and to maintain preventive maintenance records and checklists. You will diagnose faults, repair or replace components, oversee electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and fire protection systems, and manage spare parts while coordinating with purchasing for reorders.

• Plan and execute regular servicing of machines and utilities.
• Maintain and update preventive maintenance records and checklists.
• Diagnose faults, repair, or replace defective components.
• Minimize equipment downtime and ensure machine reliability.
• Oversee electrical, plumbing, air compressor, HVAC, and fire protection systems.
• Ensure proper functioning of plant lighting, power supply, and water systems.
• Manage stock of critical spare parts.
• Coordinate with purchasing for reorder and supplier sourcing.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with safety standards and regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections and compliance audits.
• Prepare daily and monthly maintenance reports.
• Update equipment history logs and breakdown records.
• Support Lean, Kaizen, or TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) initiatives.
• Recommend improvements to enhance machine efficiency and reduce maintenance costs.
