Job summary

PTT Synergy Group Berhad is seeking a maintenance leader to oversee daily maintenance activities for warehouse equipment, processing lines, and facilities in Malaysia. The role focuses on planning work, achieving SLA targets, and driving TPM and continuous improvement across the maintenance function.

You will lead a team of technicians, coordinate external contractors, and ensure safe, reliable operations while aligning maintenance plans with client requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or any related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience, preferable in managerial role in the automated warehouse solutions industry.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Possess a strong sense of responsibility, interpersonal skills, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Job description

Manage daily maintenance activities to keep warehouse equipment, machineries, processing lines, and facilities running safely and reliably.

Plan and assign maintenance work to technicians and ensure jobs are completed on time and according to Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements.

Lead, supervise, coach, and develop the maintenance team to improve performance and competency.

Coordinate breakdown and corrective maintenance to restore equipment and minimize unplanned downtime.

Plan and improve preventive and predictive maintenance activities to align with client’s operations.

Monitor equipment condition and identify potential problems before breakdowns.

Ensure reliable operations and maintenance of utilities systems, including electrical, water, compressed air, steam, HVAC, and etc.

Coordinate and supervise external contractors and service providers, ensuring the work is completed safely, properly, and according to company and client requirements.

Ensure any maintenance activities are properly updated in the e-Maintenance system.

Monitor maintenance performance, equipment availability, downtime, and SLA achievement, and take action when targets are not met.

Apply Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Lean, and continuous improvement activities to improve reliability, reduce downtime, and increase maintenance efficiency.

Ensure all maintenance work complies with company policies, safety procedures, and applicable legal and client requirements.
