Job summary

Swiss-Garden International Hotels, Resorts & Inns in Kuantan, Pahang is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance across our premier hotel facilities. The role is full-time and focuses on sustaining high standards of property management and guest satisfaction.

You will lead a maintenance team, implement preventive maintenance, monitor budgets, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar maintenance management role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and hotel equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
• Proven team leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a maintenance team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with various stakeholders.
• Proficient in using maintenance management software and other relevant technologies.
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with the ability to read and interpret technical manuals and documents.

As a full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our premier hotel facilities, ensuring a high standard of property management and guest satisfaction.

What you'll be doing

• Develop and implement effective preventive maintenance programs to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of all hotel equipment and facilities
• Manage a team of maintenance technicians and oversee their work to maintain a well-functioning hotel infrastructure
• Conduct regular inspections and identify any issues or areas for improvement, taking prompt action to address them
• Collaborate with the engineering and housekeeping teams to coordinate maintenance activities and minimise disruptions to guest experiences
• Monitor and analyse maintenance-related data to identify trends and opportunities for optimisation
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, health, and environmental regulations
• Manage maintenance budgets and resources effectively to maximise efficiency and cost-effectiveness

What we're looking for
