Job summary

Swiss-Garden International Hotels, Resorts & Inns in Kuantan, Pahang is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance across our premier hotel facilities. The role is full-time and focuses on sustaining high standards of property management and guest satisfaction.

You will lead a maintenance team, implement preventive maintenance, monitor budgets, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar maintenance management role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and hotel equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
• Proven team leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a maintenance team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with various stakeholders.
• Proficient in using maintenance management software and other relevant technologies.
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with the ability to read and interpret technical manuals and documents.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for hotel facilities and equipment.
• Manage a team of maintenance technicians and oversee their work to ensure a well-functioning hotel.
• Conduct regular inspections and address issues promptly.
• Collaborate with engineering and housekeeping to coordinate maintenance activities.
• Monitor maintenance data to identify trends and optimisation opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Manage maintenance budgets and resources to maximise efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
