Job summary

Jobstreet Malaysia is seeking a Mechanical Engineering professional to provide technical guidance to engineering teams and top management, lead installation and commissioning, and ensure documentation compliance.

You will develop maintenance strategies, work with suppliers, train operators, uphold ISO9001:2015 and ISO14001:2015, 5S implementation, and lead group activities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience.
• Able to work independently and as a team.
• Strong leadership, communication, training, planning and organizing skills.
• Knowledge in AutoCAD or other drawing software; able to read engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

Work with the team and other department members to produce effective maintenance strategies, procedures and methods.

Liaise with suppliers and contractors on technical specification or relevant matters.

Support, comply and ensure complicity with Safety & Health regulations, company policies and procedures.

Identify training requirements and train operators and technician.

Implementation and Management of Safety, 5S & ISO

• Follow all safety procedures & regulations and ensure safe work environment.
• Implement and participate actively in 5S activities for the Department & Organization.
• Support other key strategic 5S programs where necessary.
• Adhere to ISO standards compliance.

Any other duties as assigned by superior or Management from time to time.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
