Job summary

Damante M in Malaysia is seeking a Highway Maintenance Technician to support our field operations on a contract basis. You will conduct maintenance, testing, and repair of electrical/electronic and mechanical components on highway infrastructure.

Responsibilities include installation, testing, and commissioning at site, supervising simple assembly tasks, and advising on maintenance priorities. Applicants should hold an Electrical/Electronic diploma or certificate, and fresh graduates are

JOB DESCRIPTION:- HIGHWAY MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

We have an immediate vacancy for Technician to cater our continuous operation.

Technician Duties and Responsibilities

Conduct, maintain, test and repair electrical / electronic, mechanical and components.

Apply knowledge and skills of electrical, electronic and mechanical principles, repairing and restoring malfunction equipment.

1. To conduct testing work for new and existing products.

4. To conduct and assist in installation, testing, commissioning at site including cabling works.

5. To supervise assembly works conducted by operator where applicable.

• Inspect and manage highway in enclosed areas for maintenance and repair.

To relieve traffic safely and smoothly, and check if traffic signs, roads and pavements are in good condition. advise land owners of highway inspection, advise on bridge replacement, analyse highway patterns, coordinate construction activities, design customised maps

• estimate repair priority, set up temporary construction site infrastructure, use measurement instruments, work in a construction team

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum SPM, Certificate or Diploma in Electrical/Electronic or equivalent.
• Valid Electrician qualification/certification is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Good working skill with manual and power tools.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Able to handle different nature of works when required (multi-tasking).
• Have own transport/motorcycle is an added advantage
• Willing to be based in Tg Puteri, Bandar Johor Bahru
