Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Maintenance Fitter to join our maintenance team in Pasir Gudor. You will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing plant machinery to ensure safe and smooth operations.

Key tasks include preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnosing mechanical faults, fitting, dismantling, installation and alignment of equipment, basic welding and fabrication, and ensuring compliance with safety procedures to keep plant downtime minimal.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM / Certificate / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience as Maintenance Fitter / Mechanical Fitter / Fitter is an advantage.
• Experience in plant or manufacturing machinery maintenance is preferred.
• Good knowledge of mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive & corrective maintenance on plant machinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical breakdowns.
• Carry out fitting, dismantling, installation & alignment of equipment.
• Perform basic welding, fabrication & mechanical repair works.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with safety procedures.
