Job summary

UNITED CAPS KULIM is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure reliability and proper maintenance of production machinery, robots, equipment, and facility systems. You will implement preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot malfunctions, manage spare parts, and support continuous improvement to minimize downtime.

Candidates should have a technical diploma or degree in mechanical/electrical/mechatronics, plus 2–3 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in mechanical/electrical/mechatronics or related field.
2–3 years of relevant maintenance, engineering, facilities, or manufacturing experience.
Experience troubleshooting production machinery, robots, electrical/pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; able to read schematics and manuals.
Willing to work independently and outside normal hours when required.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain preventive maintenance programs for production machines and equipment.
Execute preventive maintenance activities according to schedule and monitor results.
Troubleshoot breakdowns and perform corrective maintenance on machinery and robots.
Investigate recurring problems and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Monitor equipment condition and identify potential failures before downtime.
Maintain lubrication, cleanliness, and maintenance records; manage spare parts.
Prepare daily/weekly maintenance activity reports and document maintenance activities.
