Job summary

AT&S Malaysia, located in Kulim Hi-Tech Park, Kedah, seeks a Maintenance Engineer to plan and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance across production equipment. The role involves troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation systems, performing RCA, and driving improvements in reliability and maintenance performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering or applicable technical field from a recognized institution.
• Min 3 years’ experience as maintenance engineer in IC Substrates/PCB/Wafer Fab or other related manufacturing industry.
• Proficient in CAD software.
• Experience with facility base built systems (DIW/PCW/Power/Exhaust/WWT) is advantageous.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and flexible to change.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to maximize equipment uptime and reliability.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation-related equipment failures.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for breakdowns and implement corrective actions.
• Drive improvements in equipment reliability and maintenance performance (OEE).
• Support installation, commissioning, qualification, and ramp-up of new production equipment.
• Manage critical spare parts, inventory levels, and maintenance procurement to ensure readiness.
• Collaborate with Production, Process, Quality, and Procurement teams to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead maintenance projects and coach technicians to enhance competency.
