Job summary

Bosch Malaysia in Penang is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to safeguard production equipment reliability and performance across assigned areas. You will drive maintenance KPIs, lead root-cause analysis, and mentor technicians.

The role covers preventive maintenance, spare parts management, and implementation of condition-based strategies. Strong problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, and knowledge of Power BI are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic).
• Minimum 3 years of relevant maintenance/ reliability experience in manufacturing.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Drive equipment reliability and maintenance performance for assigned production areas.
• Lead complex troubleshooting and provide technical guidance for repairs.
• Define and improve preventive maintenance strategies and spare parts management.
• Identify and drive reliability improvement opportunities and cost-efficient upgrades.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet KPI targets and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop technical standards, documentation and knowledge transfer for maintenance teams.
