Job summary

B. Braun Medical Industries in Penang is seeking an Engineer - Preventive Maintenance to lead planning, execution, and optimization of preventive maintenance across critical manufacturing assets.

You will coordinate internal teams and external contractors to minimize downtime and ensure compliance with GMP and safety standards. The role requires 2–5 years in procurement, inventory or maintenance, plus strong SAP expertise, Excel and Power BI skills for data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field required.
• 2–5 years of experience in procurement, inventory management, supply chain operations, or maintenance spare parts management.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, engineering, or maintenance environment preferred.
• Proven experience managing supplier relationships, inventory planning, and procurement processes.
• Proficient in SAP and inventory management systems with strong procurement knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organise, and coordinate resources for internal and external Preventive Maintenance activities.
• Ensure timely availability of technicians, contractors, tools, equipment, calibration instruments, safety gear, and documentation.
• Coordinate with Production to secure machine availability and maintenance windows.
• Manage supplier relationships and monitor contractor performance for timely PM execution.
• Develop and maintain PM procedures, work instructions, and maintenance standards.
• Monitor PM data in SAP PM and drive continuous improvement in maintenance processes.
