Job summary

Sydney Cake House Sdn Bhd in Selangor invites a proactive Maintenance Engineer to safeguard our automated pastry lines. You will lead preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and collaborate with contractors to keep production running smoothly.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or higher in Engineering with 2–5 years in manufacturing (food industry preferred), and has knowledge of refrigeration, baking science, GMP, HACCP and Halal standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead troubleshooting to quickly resolve equipment issues.

• Demonstrate strong leadership and supervision.

• Performing preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Solid understanding of engineering tools, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
• Supervising and liaising with contractors and service providers.
• Ensuring all maintenance activities comply with strict food safety standards (GMP, HACCP, Halal).
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• A commitment to excellent personal hygiene and food safety standards.
• Flexibility to work on shifts, including weekends and public holidays when necessary.
• A great team player with fantastic communication skills.

What We're Looking For (The Must-Haves)

A Diploma or higher in Engineering with 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (Food industry experience is a big plus!).
