Job summary

Luxury Prudence Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia seeks an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee refrigeration, vehicle, production equipment and facilities maintenance programs to improve uptime and reliability.

You will audit effectiveness, ensure SOP compliance, track KPIs related to equipment reliability and cost avoidance, and respond to off-shift emergencies, coaching Technicians toward growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering is required.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in refrigeration system operation and maintenance.
• Experience in general maintenance of office facilities, vehicles and production equipment is advantageous.
• Advanced understanding of ammonia refrigeration systems and equipment is essential.
• Strong knowledge of Thermodynamics, Gases, Hydraulics, Pumps and Valves.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and manage maintenance programs for refrigeration, vehicles, production equipment and facilities.
• Audit the effectiveness of equipment and resources and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
• Ensure SOP compliance with internal and external requirements.
• Develop, track and report KPIs related to equipment reliability, maintainability and cost avoidance.
• Respond to off-shift maintenance emergencies as needed.
• Coach, counsel, manage and direct Technicians toward departmental priorities and growth.
• Ensure Technicians are properly trained and identify opportunities for professional development.

Job description

Luxury Prudence Sdn. Bhd. – Kampong Pasir Segambut

Develop, implement and manage refrigeration, vehicle, production equipment and facilities maintenance program. Develop sustainable methodologies, systems, tools and processes to improve uptime and reliability.

Develop a formal, structured process to routinely audit the effectiveness of equipment & resources and identify areas of opportunity for continuous improvement.

Provide oversight to ensure SOP compliance in accordance with internal and external requirements.

Develop, track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to equipment reliability, maintainability, and cost avoidance due to early fault detection. Define opportunities and drive continuous improvement activities in the area of equipment reliability.

Be available to respond to any off-shift hours maintenance emergencies.

Proactively coaches, counsels, manages and directs Technicians in assignments relative to department priorities, sense of urgency, and utilization of multiple skill sets.

Ensure Technicians are properly trained. Identify opportunities for professional growth and assign work that will foster their growth and technical expertise.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree, preferably in Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in refrigeration system operation and maintenance. Experience in general maintenance of office facilities, upkeeping of vehicles and production equipment are an added advantage.
• Possess advanced understanding and experience with ammonia refrigeration system and equipment. Knowledge and experience maintaining production equipment is an added advantage.
• Possess and demonstrate a high level of working knowledge and aptitude with Thermodynamics, Compressed Gases, Hydraulics, Pumps, Valves, and other refrigeration or mechanical systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to identify practical applications to technical challenges with the flexibility to adapt programs and services to meet specific requirements.
