Job summary

Maybank is seeking a skilled IT security professional with RACF and mainframe experience to oversee user access, profiles, and security controls. You will work with auditors, implement compliant processes, and drive improvements in access governance.

The role requires strong collaboration, analytical abilities, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced banking environment, ensuring secure authentication and authorization across enterprise systems.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of ITIL processes and ITSM tools.
• Experience with RACF/Mainframe profile configuration & management, account access, profile allocation and assignments.
• Experience in access role development and maintenance and defining application-level roles/groups and permissions to ensure secure authentication and authorisation mechanisms are aligned with policies, standards and as appropriate, best practices.

Responsibilities

• Run ad-hoc reports and troubleshoot access and profile issues.
• Conduct routine and regular ongoing reviews of security audit and control procedures.
• Understand audit and compliance requirements and work closely with Auditors.

Job description

• RACF basic knowledge: creation of user IDs, groups, profiles (data set and general resource)


• Able to use native RACF ISPF panels


• TSO knowledge


• Knowledge of mainframe Digital Certificates, Connect Direct, FTP services


• SMF Reporting


• SETROPTS command


• Follow documented procedures to disable terminated IDs


• Excel spreadsheet (data manipulation, v lookup, features to find and analyze duplicate records)


• Run ad-hoc reports and troubleshoot access and profile issue


• Conduct routine and regular ongoing reviews of security audit and control procedures.


• Understanding of audit and compliance requirements. Work closely with Auditors, walkthrough process & policy.


• Provide solution/remediation/process for audit / compliance issues


• Lead and motivate the team on the process and new initiatives

Required Knowledge & Skills:

• Good understanding of ITIL processes and ITSM tools.
