Maybank is seeking a skilled Mainframe z/OS Administrator to manage and customize the mainframe OS and hardware configurations in Kuala Lumpur. You will handle Z/OS operations, problem analysis, and ensure high-quality service aligned with SLAs.

You will collaborate with multiple units, serve as a technical resource, and take part in OS and third-party software upgrades, as well as new IODF configurations and WLM settings to optimize performance.

Formación

• Experience maintaining mainframe hardware and configuring Z/OS.
• Strong knowledge of Z/OS components: JES2, RACF, VTAM/TCPIP, JCL, VSAM, TSO.
• Experience upgrading OS and third-party software in mainframe environments.

Responsabilidades

• Z/OS support including problem analysis and resolution.
• Provide technical support of the mainframe infrastructure to meet SLA expectations.
• Collaborate with other units and act as technical resource and SME.
• Significant involvement in OS upgrades to new releases.
• Significant involvement in upgrading third-party software to new releases.
• Contribute to R&D projects as required.
• Familiar with IODF configuration.
• Familiar with WLM configuration and settings.
• Familiar with zOS UNIX administration and configuration.

Mainly responsible for managing the mainframe hardware configuration, installing and customizing the mainframe operating system.

• Z/OS support including problem analysis and resolution
• Provide technical support of the mainframe infrastructure to provide high quality customer service and meet SLA expectations.
• Collaborate and liaise with other units and serve as a technical resource and subject matter expert.
• Significant involvement in upgrade of operating systems to new release
• Significant involvement in upgrade of third party software products to new releases
• Contribute to research and development projects as require
• Very familiar and Able to perform new IODF configuration
• Familiar with WLM configuration and settings
• Familiar with zOS unix administration and configuration
