Job summary

Leonix Sdn Bhd in Bayan Lepas, Penang, Malaysia is seeking a machine operator to support department needs. The role involves programming, setup, and operation, plus design of jigs/fixtures for machining use and managing machine tooling and accessories.

You will prepare raw materials, perform QC checks, and conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance. Responsibilities include maintaining productivity and quality, documenting production results, and adhering to safety

Qualifications

• Machine operation including programming, setup and operation.
• Design jig and fixture for products machining use.
• Manage tooling and accessories of the machines.
• Raw material preparation and QC checks (1st and in-process).
• Perform preventive and scheduled maintenance to keep machines in good condition.

Responsibilities

• Achieve defined productivity levels and quality requirements on all products.
• Maintain specifications by observing operations, measurements, and troubleshooting processes.
• Keep preventive maintenance and routine servicing to ensure machines stay in good working order.
• Maintain cleanliness of machines and accessories through periodic cleaning.
• Document production results and outputs.
• Ensure safe operations by following safety procedures and regulations.
• Communicate actively with the department and related departments.
• Report any un-documented problems to a superior for action.

Job description

Machine operation as required by the department - Program, setup & operate.

Design jig and fixture for products machining use.

Manage tooling and accessories of the machines.

Raw material preparation. QC Check - 1st Inspection and In-process Inspection.

Upkeep of machine in Preventive Maintenance and Scheduled Maintenance.

Process - Magnetic finish, buffing, deburring, blasting, QC and anodising.

Key responsibilities

Achieve defined productivity levels and quality requirements on all products

Maintain specification through observing operations, measurements, detecting malfunctions, troubleshooting processes, adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes

Maintain and conduct preventive maintenance, to ensure machines always in good working conditions

Maintain cleanliness of machines and accessories by performing periodical cleaning

Document production results and outputs

Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations

Active communication in between the department and other related departments

Report immediately to superior upon any problems found which are not documented for subsequent actions
