Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think logically and work systematically through technical issues

Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of workmanship

Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment

Physical capability to perform hands‑on technical work, including lifting heavy components and working in varied positions

Knowledge of preventative maintenance practices and best practices in equipment care

Relevant technical qualifications or certifications in machinery maintenance or engineering are advantageous

Familiarity with maintenance management systems or computerised record‑keeping is beneficial

Willing to work in overtime and attend breakdowns when required
