Job summary

LM EQUIPMENT SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician in Melaka to perform maintenance and repair on construction machinery.

You will troubleshoot issues, perform routine lubrication and adjustments, and assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment. The role requires a Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, hands-on tool proficiency, and a proactive, safety-conscious mindset.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience as a Mechanical Technician is advantageous.
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions and manuals.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair on construction machinery (scissorlift, boomlift, handling equipment).
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair mechanical issues in a timely manner.
• Carry out routine maintenance such as lubrication, adjustments and replacements.
• Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Complete delivery jobs and provide training to customers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal equipment performance.

As a Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks on our mechanical equipment and machinery. What you're doing
