Job summary

INTOTEST Sdn Bhd, a Malaysia-incorporated company dedicated to semiconductor testing and tapping, develops modular automation solutions with over two decades of experience. The Applications Engineer will evaluate, verify and develop machine vision systems to client specs, perform on-site setup and testing, troubleshoot, and work with other departments to define requirements for complete business solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree/postgraduate in Engineering or equivalent.
• Knowledge of machine vision is an added advantage.
• Familiar with Keyence programming preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritise tasks, multitask and work under pressure.
• Languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Carry out evaluation, verification and development of machine vision systems based on client requirements.
• Conduct feasibility studies based on client requirements.
• On-site setup and testing of machine vision systems.
• Troubleshoot and provide technical assistance to customers.
• Collaborate with other departments to define requirements for complete business solutions.
• Test and debug vision modules, automation equipment, jigs, and fittings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the HOD.
