Job summary

National Instruments in Penang, Malaysia seeks a test engineering professional to validate automated test solutions and own them from deployment to production readiness. You will work with R&D and manufacturing teams to ensure hardware/software compatibility and system performance.

Fresh graduates are welcome. The role requires knowledge of schematics, hardware/software analysis, and LabVIEW/TestStand/C/C++ skills, with opportunities to transfer technology across sites and support manufacturing

Qualifications

Degree in Electronics/ Electrical/ Telecommunication/ Instrumentation/Mechatronics or equivalent from an accredited engineering program.
Fresh graduates welcomed.
Possess good interpersonal skills and the ability to gain cross-functional support.
Understanding of schematics, hardware and software analysis.
SPC knowledge is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

Validate automated test solutions for manufacture of test and measurement instruments and ensure readiness for product release.
Own test solutions after deployment on production floor and ensure they are in good condition and available.
Act as liaison between R&D Teams and Manufacturing Operations to provide corrective actions.
Perform advanced unit, integration, and system verification and validation testing using HW/SW tools.
Transfer new test systems from R&D to manufacturing and support cross-site transfers.
