Job summary

Intretech (Malaysia) is seeking a Test Engineer to join its global engineering team, focusing on device testing, debugging and test automation in a high-tech manufacturing environment. You will design test plans, run functional and stress tests, analyze data and collaborate with Design, Manufacturing, ME and Quality teams to ensure product quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Computer or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Fresh graduates encouraged; 1–2 years of relevant experience welcomed.
• Basic knowledge of test plans, test case design and test methodologies.
• Experience with functional, regression, integration and stress testing is a plus.
• Knowledge of test automation, scripting or programming is an advantage.
• Hands-on experience with measurement equipment is valued.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop test plans, procedures, test cases and test fixtures for products and components.
• Execute functional, performance, regression, integration and stress testing.
• Develop and improve automated testing processes using test software, scripting or programming tools.
• Ensure test procedures are robust, repeatable and aligned with product specifications.
• Analyze test failures and perform systematic debugging of hardware, firmware and software issues.
• Support New Product Introduction, product validation and system integration tests.
• Collect and analyze test data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with Design, Manufacturing, ME and Quality teams for root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Maintain and calibrate test equipment and stations; improve test efficiency and reliability.
