Job summary

C‑Hawk Technology, a global leader in semiconductor and healthcare manufacturing solutions, is seeking a Vision & Metrology Engineer in Malaysia. You will assess inspection and metrology processes, define requirements and acceptance criteria, and drive integration of cameras, optics and sensors with IT/OT systems.

Responsibilities include developing image processing, linking equipment to PLCs and MES, and leading calibration and ramp‑up activities. Travel to sites for deployment is required.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in machine vision, mechatronics, electrical, automation, optics, or manufacturing engineering.
• 4–8 years implementing industrial vision, automated inspection or dimensional–metrology systems.
• Hands-on cameras, lenses, lighting, image processing and Cognex/Keyence/Halcon/OpenCV or equivalent platforms.
• Knowledge of CMM/portable metrology, MSA, Gage R&R, calibration, PLC integration and quality validations advantageous.
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills, able to travel to C–Hawk sites for deployment and ramp support.

• Create standards, maintenance, procedures and training; replicate qualified solutions across C‑Hawk sites.

Job description

Selects and integrate cameras, optics, lighting, sensors, fixtures, CMM/protable metrology and line – side data – collection technologies.

Develop and tune image – processing, rule based vision and AI – engineering team where required.

Connect inspection equipment to PLCs , database, QMS , MES and tracebillity platforms using approved IT/OT standards.

Lead MSA /Gage R&R calibration, validation, FAT , SAT , commissioning, defect – library development and production ramp – up.

Create standards, maintenance, procedures and training ; replicate qualified solutions across C – Hawk sites.

Job Requirements:

Degree / Diploma in machine vision, mechatronics, electrical, automation, optics, or manufacturing engineering.

4- 8 years implementing industrial vision, automated inspection or dimensional – metrology systems.

Hands – on cameras, lenses, lighting, image processing and Cognex / Keyence / Halcon / OpenCV or equivalent platforms.
