Job summary

Glenmarie Golf & Country Club is seeking a Electrical/Facilities Technician to perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on site. The role includes corrective maintenance, repairs, and improvements to ensure all equipment and facilities operate in good condition.

The incumbent will work in shifts, may be required on weekends and public holidays, and will collaborate with contractors to uphold standards.

Qualifications

Candidate must possess at least SPM and a certificate in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Chargeman Certificate A0/A1/A4 from Suruhanjaya Tenaga encouraged to apply.
At least 2 years of working experience in building facility M&E or related field.
Specialized in Engineering - Electrical or equivalent.
Demonstrate ability to work in a team.
Able to work in shift and willing to work during weekends and public holidays; be on-call.

Responsibilities

To perform daily routine inspection and preventive maintenance activities as per preventive maintenance schedule.
To carry out corrective maintenance/rectification & maintenance work of properties.
To ensure equipments and facilities/properties are in good working condition.
To make general repairs if equipment and facility/property cannot be operated.
To modify equipment or facility/property for better quality and productivity working condition.
To ensure the repairing work complies with requirements and standards.
To control waste during any assignments.
To ensure efficiency and effectiveness of equipments and facilities maintenance.
To attend to feedback/complaints/service requests and report to superior.
To undertake building repair work and complete within the given time frame.
To troubleshoot and undertake hands-on repair work for any issues relating to building facility promptly.
To liaise with contractors for repair work and supervise contractors to ensure work standard.
