Job summary

Master Jaya Corporation is seeking a Site Supervisor responsible for guiding site workers and subcontractors in installation and erection tasks. You will monitor site activities, resolve technical issues, and prepare progress reports, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications.

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of site supervision experience, be able to communicate well in English and Malay, and have a diploma or certificate in a relevant engineering field.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise, instruct, and lead site workers and subcontractors on installation and erection works.
• Monitor daily site activities and track progress against project schedules to ensure timely completion.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve site issues and technical problems effectively.
• Prepare and submit daily site progress reports, including photos and videos of installation works.
• Attend and participate in subcontractor meetings, client meetings, consultant discussions, and other project-related meetings.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly site reports accurately and on time.
• Ensure site works are carried out in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication between site and office.
• Support repair, servicing, testing, and commissioning of equipment, machinery, and systems (training/guidance will be provided).
• Ensure proper housekeeping, discipline, and safety practices at the site.
• Perform other duties as assigned from time to time.

Other Attributes & Pre-requisites

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on site supervision experience, preferably in dust control systems, fans & blowers, air ducting, chimneys, or industrial equipment and machinery.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and communicate instructions clearly to site teams.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills in managing workers and subcontractors.
• Practical knowledge of installation, repair, servicing, testing, and commissioning works.
• Able to work independently with strong discipline and accountability.
• Willing to travel outstation and work in challenging site environments (hot, dusty, working at height).
• Prepared to work overtime, including weekends and public holidays when required.
• Strong commitment to punctuality, attendance, and meeting project deadlines.
• Hardworking, proactive, and results-oriented (Work Hard, Work Smart, Work Fast).
• Honest, cooperative, and responsible in carrying out all assigned duties.
• Ability to communicate in English and Malay; Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage.
