Job summary

BNQ Engineering Sdn Bhd is seeking a Site Engineer - Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) to coordinate and oversee M&E works at project sites in Penang. You will ensure installations align with drawings, specs, schedules and safety requirements.

The role requires a degree or diploma in mechanical or electrical engineering, familiarity with M&E drawings, and strong communication and problem-solving skills to coordinate with consultants, contractors and project teams.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Relevant experience in M&E construction or project coordination is preferred.
• Able to read and understand M&E drawings.
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor M&E installation works on-site.
• Ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications and quality requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors and other project teams.
• Monitor site progress and assist in resolving technical and coordination issues.
• Maintain relevant site records, reports and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with site safety requirements.
