Job summary

Nestcon Builders Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Mechanical and Electrical Engineer/Coordinator to lead coordination and management of M&E works for construction projects in Penang Island. You will ensure quality, smooth site coordination, and timely project delivery.

Responsibilities include coordinating subcontractors, preparing coordination drawings, solving technical issues, and ensuring compliance with drawings, standards and schedules.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant M&E experience in building construction.
• Knowledge of M&E systems: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection.
• Ability to read and interpret M&E coordination drawings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage mechanical and electrical works for construction projects.
• Manage M&E subcontractors and monitor site coordination and progress.
• Coordinate with M&E subcontractors to prepare and review coordination drawings.
• Identify and resolve M&E technical issues arising on projects.
• Plan and coordinate upcoming site activities to ensure smooth execution.
• Liaise with consultants, clients, and project team on M&E matters.
• Maintain all project documentation and records.
• Monitor works to ensure compliance with drawings, quality standards, and schedules.
