Job summary

Private Advertiser in Johor Bahru is seeking a dedicated M&E Engineer to join our team. This full-time role focuses on installation and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems across diverse projects, ensuring safety and compliance with Malaysia regulations.

You will conduct site inspections, prepare drawings, supervise installations, and coordinate with contractors and clients to ensure timely delivery and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in M&E engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical distribution, and building services.
• Excellent understanding of building codes, standards, and regulations applicable to Malaysia.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections and assessments to identify requirements and potential challenges for M&E installations.
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and documentation required for project implementation.
• Supervise and coordinate the installation of mechanical and electrical equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation, commissioning and DLP phases.
• Conduct testing and commissioning of M&E systems to meet performance specifications.
• Maintain regular communication with Contractors and Clients regarding project progress and technical matters.
• Perform routine maintenance inspections and recommend improvements to existing systems.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Document all project activities, test results, and maintenance records accurately.
