Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
1–2 years of relevant M&E QS experience in construction.
Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English; Mandarin is an added advantage.
Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

Prepare cost estimates, BOQ (Bill of Quantities), and tender documents for M&E works.
Assist in tender evaluation, negotiation, and award processes.
Review M&E specifications and drawings to ensure accurate quantity take-offs.
Monitor and control project expenditure for M&E works.
Evaluate contractor and subcontractor progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts.
Prepare monthly cost reports and cash flow forecasts.
Ensure all M&E costs are captured and documented.
Support procurement and selection of M&E suppliers and subcontractors.
Ensure compliance with contract terms and liaise with consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
