Job summary

Sutera Sanctuary Lodges is seeking an experienced Revenue Manager to lead pricing strategy, yield management and revenue forecasting for its luxury lodges in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. The role collaborates with operations, sales and marketing to maximise occupancy and profitability.

You will analyse booking patterns, manage inventory across channels and implement data-driven RM practices to drive performance while maintaining guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience in revenue management within a 4-star or luxury hotel environment.
• Strong proficiency with revenue management systems and property management software.
• Advanced knowledge of pricing strategy, yield management, and demand forecasting techniques.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and trends.
• Experience managing multiple revenue streams and optimising occupancy rates.
• Strong understanding of hospitality operations, market dynamics and competitive positioning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across departments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools; familiarity with hospitality revenue systems is advantageous.
• Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field; certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement revenue management strategies, pricing models and yield initiatives.
• Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and demand forecasts to optimise room rates and packages.
• Analyse booking patterns, occupancy rates and revenue across channels and segments.
• Manage inventory allocation across online agencies, corporate accounts and direct bookings.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing and front office to align pricing and promotions.
• Prepare revenue reports and provide actionable insights to senior management.
• Utilise revenue management systems to track KPIs and drive data-based decisions.
• Manage group bookings and negotiate rates while maintaining targets and margins.
• Identify opportunities for ancillary revenue from activities, dining and packages.
• Train front office and reservations staff on pricing policies and RM procedures.
