Job summary

Private Advertiser in Malaysia is seeking a Plant Manager to lead the LPG Bottling Plant, ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-efficient operation with strict HSE, product quality and regulatory compliance.

You will oversee LPG receiving, storage, filling, handling, palletizing, dispatch, maintenance and plant performance, managing a team of 7 direct reports and approximately 58 indirect contract workers, while coordinating with the Buyer on production, delivery and service levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering as required.
• Diploma in Engineering may be considered if substantial LPG bottling experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership for the safe and efficient operation of the LPG bottling plant.
• Plan, coordinate and control daily, weekly and monthly LPG bottling activities in accordance with customer demand, production plans and capacity.
• Manage the operation of filling lines, conveying, palletizing, inspection and dispatch interfaces.
• Ensure production nominations are achieved without compromising HSE, quality or equipment integrity.
• Establish and maintain operating procedures and shift handover practices.
• Drive reduction of LPG operational losses and investigate inventory variances.
• Coordinate daily/weekly production requirements with the Buyer and ensure service levels.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Petroleum Engineering or a related engineering discipline
