Job summary

Air Products Inc. seeks a capable supervisor to oversee ASU and HPN operations in Malaysia. You will supervise plant personnel, ensure safe and reliable unit operations, and plan production with commercial and scheduling teams.

The role requires hands-on engineering background and ability to drive continuous improvement in cost and safety metrics. Responsibilities include maintaining logs, complying with ISO standards and Halal requirements, and coordinating with site teams to meet customer

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (Gas & Chemical) required.
• 2–5 years of manufacturing production experience desired.
• Hands-on operating plant environment; able to work in groups with operations, maintenance and global support services.

Responsibilities

• Supervise plant personnel to ensure safe, reliable and optimum unit operations.
• Inspect unit conditions, identify abnormalities and take immediate actions for safe resolutions.
• Plan and schedule production in collaboration with commercial, distribution and scheduling teams.
• Maintain records and operating logs; ensure ISO 9002/ISO 14001/ISO 45001 and Halal certifications adherence.
• Monitor production costs, efficiency and variances; drive continuous improvement and reporting.
