Job summary

Kum Fatt Engineering Sdn Bhd (KFESB) is seeking an HDD operation support member in Malaysia to ensure safety, readiness, and timely field execution. You will assist with loading equipment, managing water supply, and ensuring compliance and smooth operations on site.

Responsibilities include site readiness, equipment setup, adherence to JPJ rules, and teamwork under supervision to meet daily targets and maintain high safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must have GDL license.
• Do not have any pending criminal proceedings.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Utility Services or relevant fields.
• Self-motivated, a team player and work under pressure.
• Good communication.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018 is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Be punctual and arrive 30 minutes early to store.
• Check lorry engine oil, water (radiator) and other items are in good condition.
• Prepare and load tools and equipment onto the lorry and ensure departure from store before 8.00 am.
• Preparation (setting cones & signboard, toolbox talk and setting HDD machine equipment) of start HDD operation within 1 hour.
• Arrange safety barrier with hoarding, signboard and cones to setting on site.
• Prepare and set HDD machine equipment such as water supply, water pump, diesel, petrol and etc., and ensure equipment is ready before operating the HDD machine within 1 hour.
• Ensure water supply is on time and continuous without stopping HDD operation process.
• Find the best condition of water supply resource, including water pump setting, parking area with proper Traffic Management Plan (TMP), route and legal compliance.
• Ensure water pump and tank are in good working condition.
• Ensure water pumps are turned off safely every time after use.
• Conduct daily housekeeping within 1 hour, including site waste clearance and washing road surfaces.
• Clear and keep all tools and equipment in proper condition on the lorry within 30 minutes before leaving site.
• Ensure diesel and petrol are ready for HDD operation and prepare usage for the next day.
• Comply with JPJ, traffic and company rules and regulations.
• Follow work schedule and team leader / superior’s instruction.
