Job summary

MindMerge Consulting is seeking an experienced Logistics Solutions Design Manager to design end-to-end logistics solutions, assess new business opportunities and craft competitive proposals. The role focuses on Warehousing & Distribution, operational planning and profitability.

You will evaluate customer requirements, model costs, and coordinate with commercial and operations teams to deliver practical, financially sustainable solutions for a diverse client base.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.

As part of its continued business growth, our client isseeking an experienced Logistics Solutions Design Manager to support new business opportunities, develop commerciallyviable logistics solutions and drive operational improvements.

About the Role

This position offers an opportunity for a logisticsprofessional who enjoys combining operational expertise with commercial and strategic thinking .

You will play an important role in designing end-to-endlogistics solutions, evaluating new business opportunities andpreparing competitive proposals that balance operationalfeasibility, service quality and profitability.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Warehousing & Distribution (W&D) , with the ability to translate customer requirements intopractical and financially sustainable logistics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Logistics Solution Design & Development

Design and develop cost-effective logistics solutions,particularly for warehousing and distribution operations.

Analyse customer requirements, operational workflows,warehouse capacity, manpower and resource requirements.

Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency,productivity and service delivery.

Develop solutions for new business opportunities andimprovements to existing logistics operations.

2. Commercial Analysis & Business Proposals

Conduct financial feasibility assessments, including costmodelling, pricing analysis, profitability and P&L projections.

Prepare commercial and technical proposals for newbusiness opportunities, tenders and customer requirements.

Evaluate operational costs, investment requirements,resource allocation and projected financial returns.

Work closely with commercial and operational teams todevelop competitive and commercially viable solutions.

3. Operational Planning & Strategy

Develop operational plans and strategies to support newlogistics projects and business expansion.

Conduct operational simulations, capacity assessments andworkflow optimisation to determine appropriate solutions.

Support the transition from solution design to operational implementation.

Recommend process enhancements and innovative approachesto improve cost efficiency and operational effectiveness.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

Collaborate with Business Development, Operations, Financeand other stakeholders to develop integrated logistics solutions.

Present business proposals, financial assessments andoperational recommendations to management.

Monitor industry trends and identify opportunities forservice enhancement and business growth.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management,Business, Engineering or a related discipline.

5–10 years of relevant experience in logistics , preferably within a 3PL or contract logistics environment.

Strong hands-on experience in Warehousing & Distribution , particularly solution design, operational planning orlogistics engineering.

Good understanding of Freight Forwarding, Heavy Lift or General Cargo operations would be an added advantage.

Experience in logistics costing, financial modelling,P&L analysis, commercial proposals or tender preparation.

Familiarity with warehouse design, capacity planning,operational simulation or process optimisation tools.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with theability to prepare financial analyses and business presentations.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, commercial andstakeholder management skills.

Relevant logistics certifications would be an advantage.
