Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced logistics/warehouse professional to plan and execute a warehouse and logistics strategy, improve workflow, and oversee daily operations including inventory, receiving, replenishment, picking, packing, and QC.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years in logistics, a Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field, and strong MS Office and logistics system skills. Expect ISO compliance and KPI-driven performance measures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, Supply Chain, or relevant field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Warehouse/Logistic System.
• 3-5 years experience in logistics/warehouse with knowledge of processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Plan and develop a warehouse and logistic strategy to improve workflow and SOPs.
• Manage daily logistic and warehouse operations including inventory, receiving, replenishment, picking, packing and quality checks.
• Develop KPIs and action plans to improve customer satisfaction in warehouse/logistics.
• Ensure systematic warehouse operations and ISO compliance.
• Introduce best practices in warehouse operations and ensure health, safety and enviro regulations.
• Prepare reports on inventory, warehouse performance and issues; handle ad-hoc duties.

Responsibility

• To plan and develop a warehouse and logistic strategy to improve the current warehouse workflow, storage, resource allocation, SOP and processes.


• To manage and oversee daily logistic and warehouse operation but not limited to managing inventory, conduct physical inventory count, perform stock receiving, replenishment and dispatch, picking, packing, quality check etc).


• To develop KPIs and implement action plans to improve customer satisfaction with related to warehouse and logistic area.


• To ensure a systematic warehouse and logistic operation and ensure compliance with ISO standards.


• To introduce best practices in warehouse operations.


• To ensure compliance with relevant health, safety and environmental regulations.


• Analyse inventory trends, identity and address roof causes of inventory issues by implementing correction action and improvement.


• To ensure inventory accuracy, inventory turns, and inventory lead time


• Prepare reports relating to inventory, warehouse performance, and operational issues


• Other ad-hoc duties relating to Warehouse and logistics assigned from time to time.
