Job summary

Qualifications

• Higher diploma / degree in logistics, marketing or equivalent.

• 1–2 years in sales support or administrative role, preferably freight forwarding.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with stakeholders.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office.
• Customer-centric approach and teamwork attitude.
• Experience in administration and high-volume office work is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to multi-task and quickly switch focus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quotations for local and overseas customers and follow up on quotations.
• Source, negotiate and compile rates for quotations with carriers/airlines.
• Provide sales support and coordination for local and overseas customers.
• Act as point of contact for customers and address inquiries or concerns about shipments.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers to increase sales of logistics services.
• Understand customer needs to provide suitable solutions.
• Liaise with operations to ensure consistent service quality.
• Collaborate with Sales to identify retention and upselling opportunities.
• Conduct market research to identify potential clients or market opportunities.
• Assist in cold-calling or emailing potential leads.
• Update CRM with customer information and interactions.
• Follow up with customers after meetings and calls.
• Supervise shipments until delivery is completed and satisfactory.
