L&R Logistics, headquartered in Shah Alam, Selangor, is seeking a Logistics Planner to optimize routes, supervise drivers, and lead a planning team for on-time deliveries across multi-client accounts. The role emphasizes accuracy, Excel-based data management, and Maslog system usage.

Ideal candidates hold a Diploma or Degree in Logistics with 2–4 years of transport planning experience and are ready for flexible hours to ensure operational continuity.

Qualifications

SPM, STPM, Diploma, or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, or related fields.
2–4 years of experience in transport planning, route optimization, or driver coordination.
Good knowledge of Peninsular Malaysia road networks and multi-drop load consolidation.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel; Maslog experience is an added advantage.
Strong communication and coordination skills with a positive, problem-solving mindset.
Willingness to work flexible hours or shifts to support operational continuity.

Responsibilities

Route Planning & Optimization: Lead daily delivery road planning for the General Truck Division, consolidating multi-client cargo to maximize truck capacity and fuel efficiency per trip.
Team Guidance: Act as the primary point of contact to guide and align peer planners on daily dispatch allocation and routine adjustments.
Driver Oversight: Supervise assigned drivers, address route/access inquiries promptly, and track daily dispatches to ensure 100% on-time delivery.
System & Data Management: Maintain real-time driver tracking and trip status updates using Excel master sheets and the Maslog system to support billing accuracy.
Operational Reporting: Compile daily trip summaries, truck utilization figures, and driver attendance logs for management review.

Who We Are

The Role

The Logistics Planner plays a key role in driving daily route execution and capacity optimization across our general fleet. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will serve as a functional lead within the planning team—optimizing multi-client routes, maximizing payload capacity, guiding peer planners, and ensuring on-time delivery across all accounts.

What We’re Looking For

SPM, STPM, Diploma, or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, or related fields.
2–4 years of experience in transport planning, route optimization, or driver coordination (preferably in 3PL/General Cargo).
Good knowledge of Peninsular Malaysia road networks and multi-drop load consolidation.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel; hands‑on experience with Transport Management Systems (Maslog is an added advantage).
Strong communication and coordination skills with a positive, problem‑solving mindset.
Willingness to work flexible hours or shifts to support operational continuity.
