PEC (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Logistics Supervisor in Penang to oversee daily operations, manage transportation allocation, and supervise drivers and crane operators. Responsibilities

• 1. Keep up-to-date on the operation of Logistics and the company policies as well as procedures to ensure effective management.
• 2. Support Senior Supervisor, Logistics with effective and timely implementation of all logistics daily operational goals inclusive of all functions on transportation and equipment management.
• 3. Coordinate and oversee various complex operations and manages the resources to complete these operations successfully and efficiently.
• 4. Assist to liaise and communicate with the team to ensure logistics and transportation requirements are met for all contracts and that all opportunities are realised and maximised.
• 5. Ensure proper allocation of resource and fulfill all contractual obligations and requirements successfully.
• 6. Responsible for the day-to-day activities of the transportation function including the management and updating of the transportation allocation.
• 7. Supervise the day-to-day activities of the transportation crews (e.g. Drivers, Heavy Vehicle Drivers, Crane Operators etc.).
• 8. Ensure the recording of transportation crews is completed on a timely manner and prompt resolution of problems.
• 9. Ensure company equipment, vehicles and mobile phones are kept in good working order and care is taken to ensure equipment is not damaged.
• 10. Responsible for communicating requirements to staff and producing clear and accurate loading and uploading lists in a timely manner.
• 11. Handle and update the equipment bookings to ensure prompt support.
• 12. Support by taking proactive action to source for external resources when internal resources are unable to meet the business’s demand.
• 13. Assist to ensure his crews adhere to the Health and Safety guidelines when performing their tasks.
• 14. Prepare report in a timely manner and also provide measurement of KPIs.
• 15. Take conscientious effort to ensure equal opportunity and embrace diversity within his team.
• 16. Responsible for his professional development to enhance his competency skills to enable him to achieve his KPIs.
• 17. Carry out any other duties as and when assigned by the immediate Supervisor or higher management.
