Job summary

• Degree or Diploma in Logistics & Supply Chain Management or Manufacturing / Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in warehouse operations, customs documentation, or supply chain management.
• Hands-on LMW operations, bonded warehouse management, and customs audits.
• Ability to analyze supply chain challenges, customs issues, and warehouse inefficiencies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with Malaysian Customs Act and LMW regulations.
• Maintain and submit reports to Royal Malaysian Customs (JKDM) as required.
• Manage all LMW documentation, including duty & SST exemption applications, permits, and audits.
• Ensure proper customs clearance procedures for raw materials, components, and finished goods.
• Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring accuracy in stock movement.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, customs agents, and transport companies to manage shipments.

About the Role

This role involves overseeing the operations of a Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse (LMW), ensuring compliance with customs regulations, optimizing warehouse efficiency, and managing inventory and logistics processes. The position requires close coordination with customs authorities, internal teams, and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth import, storage, and Import export of goods.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure full compliance with Malaysian Customs Act 1967 and LMW regulations.

Maintain and submit reports to Royal Malaysian Customs (JKDM) as required.

Manage all LMW documentation, including duty &SST exemption applications, permits, and audits.

Ensure proper customs clearance procedures for raw materials, components, and finished goods.

Conduct periodic self-audits and assist in external Customs audits and inspections.

Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring accuracy in stock movement.

Liaise with freight forwarders, customs agents, and transport companies to manage shipments.

Validate Customs-related documents .

Enforce company policies to ensure adherence to LMW regulations.

Manage storage location for each material and material process flow to each department.

Qualification & Requirements

Degree or Diploma in Logistics & Supply Chain Management or Manufacturing / Industrial Engineering (for those in production-related LMW roles) field.

Minimum 2–3 years of experience in warehouse operations, customs documentation, or supply chain management.

Hands-on LMW operations, bonded warehouse management, and customs audits.

Ability to analyze supply chain challenges, customs issues, and warehouse inefficiencies.
